Biology Expert – AI Trainer (Remote, Part‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a Biology expert to help create high‑quality, deterministic training problems for frontier AI models. The work is fully remote, part‑time (20 hours/week) and focuses on designing biology‑focused tasks that have a single verifiable answer.

Key responsibilities

• Design advanced biology problems that challenge state‑of‑the‑art AI systems.
• Create deterministic tasks with exactly one correct solution, reflecting real scientific workflows.
• Develop complete, verified solutions and submit them in the required format.
• Incorporate experimental reasoning, computational analysis, or bioinformatics pipelines where appropriate.
• Use Python and relevant biology or bioinformatics tools to build and test the tasks.
• Maintain rigorous standards of reproducibility, technical clarity and documentation.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Biology, life sciences or a closely related field.
• Research or industry experience involving computational or quantitative biological analysis.
• Strong reasoning ability and comfort with multi‑step scientific problem solving.
• Excellent written English and meticulous attention to detail.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Experience with data analysis or bioinformatics workflows.
• Familiarity with bioinformatics toolkits, genomics workflows, structural biology tools or computational biology methods (preferred).

What we offer

• Up to $40 USD per hour.
• Remote work with flexible scheduling.
• Contract of 2 months, 20 hours per week, with potential extension.
