BESS Sales Manager

About the role

Huawei Europe is seeking a BESS Sales Manager to drive business growth in the large‑scale energy storage sector. The role combines technical expertise with sales leadership to support the company’s energy transition initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the large‑scale energy storage (SSE) market through proactive networking and lead generation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with major corporations, general contractors, and ecosystem partners.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing, tracking opportunities closely.
• Coordinate with European and global headquarters to ensure strategic consistency and effectiveness.
• Conduct market analysis, including competitive intelligence, trends, and EHS regulations, to anticipate industry evolution.
• Assist European headquarters in shaping regional operational strategies.

Required profile

• Engineering background (chemical, mechanical or electrical engineering preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of technical or sales experience with deep knowledge of data‑center infrastructure solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills in English; additional European language is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial, results‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and within international teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work flexible hours according to client needs.

Required skills

• Expertise in Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems.
• Knowledge of Modular DC technology, its features and benefits.
