Azure Cloud Architect - Move to Cloud

About the role

Avaliance is looking for an Azure Cloud Architect focused on move-to-cloud projects. You will work on digital transformation projects for multi-sector clients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (Cloud, Data, Cyber, Consulting). The position is offered as CDI or independent, in a hybrid setting.

Key responsibilities

• Establish standards, guidelines and best practices for architecture, security, FinOps and DevOps.
• Define security by design: encryption, identity and access management, monitoring and backup.
• Design high-performance and secure Azure architectures.
• Carry out technical feasibility, functional and application studies.
• Write technical and operational architecture documentation.
• Lead cloud projects to meet cost, timeline and quality objectives.
• Implement DevOps and Agile best practices.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in computer science or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar environment, including 2 to 3 years on SAP Rise projects or SAP to Azure migration projects.
• Knowledge of interconnection management (ExpressRoute, VPN, VNet peering) and hybrid architectures (WAN).
• English required.

• Cloud security: IAM, encryption, monitoring.
• Automation and Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps, Bicep.
