Application Owner

About the role

Swan, an embedded banking specialist, is looking for an Application Owner to own one or more complex applications used by internal users. You will act as the internal expert for your applications, understand how they support operational workflows, and ensure they evolve with user needs and the company's strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Own applications end to end: manage configuration, access, integrations, documentation, costs, providers and operational performance.
• Improve tooling and workflows: optimise application usage, evaluate alternatives and lead implementation or migration decisions.
• Lead cross-functional projects, managing priorities, dependencies, risks, timelines, deliverables and stakeholder communication.
• Drive operational improvements while balancing quality, scalability, speed, cost and risk.
• Use data to guide decisions: define KPIs, analyse performance and recommend priorities.
• Manage stakeholders and change, securing adoption across Operations.

Required profile

• Experience owning or administering operational tools, workflow platforms, automation tools, case-management systems or other business-critical applications.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects with operational users and technical or external stakeholders.
• Able to turn user needs and operational problems into requirements, configurations, process improvements or implementation plans.
• Comfortable working with external providers on feature requests, service issues, QBRs, pricing, renewals or contracts.
• Comfortable in a regulated, technical or operationally complex environment; fintech, banking, payments or similar experience is a plus.
