Aftermarket Supplier Account Manager - Equipment & Systems

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Aftermarket Supplier Account Manager (m/f) for Equipment & Systems to join its Customer Services department in Toulouse, France. You will act as the Airbus representative and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors on the support and services perimeter.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate supplier support conditions to protect airlines and Airbus interests (spares prices, GMTBUR, GDMC, etc.) and control annual spares price variations
• Escalate customer issues and contribute to customer communications and events
• Act as the focal point for Equipment & Systems within Customer Services, including PE MFTs and their strategy, and integrate the support view into tender selection reports
• Support procurement projects and contribute to the Senior Management meeting
• Drive the Supplier Support Rating and its improvement plan, lead escalations to suppliers and organise periodic reviews with key suppliers
• Contribute to the Service Forum to deploy new business models and support customer service projects such as A380 obsolescence and Program EIS
• Act as focal point for continuous improvement and process optimisation across key interfaces, and drive or contribute to targeted projects

Required profile

• At least 7 years of proven experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of the aeronautical world is a real asset
• Proven leadership, stakeholder management and supplier relationship skills, with strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
• Strong organisational, analytical, project management and change management skills
• Fluent English is mandatory
