Account Management Lead - Editions France

About the role

Deliveroo, now part of DoorDash, is creating an Account Management Lead role for Editions France, its network of delivery-only kitchens. The role reports to Paris regional leadership and combines strategic partner leadership, P&L ownership and team building. It leads the Editions commercial team made up of Senior Account Managers, Account Managers and Sales Managers, and owns a portion of the Editions P&L.

Key responsibilities

• Guardian of the Editions strategy for France, coordinating its execution site by site and leading the team's portfolio strategy
• Build joint business plans with restaurant partners covering menu optimisation, virtual brands, pricing, packaging and catchment expansion
• Drive occupancy and signed contracts, and enforce the commercial scorecard for new kitchens
• Own a portion of the P&L, set performance targets and run regular reporting, sign-to-live and sales reviews
• Negotiate with business owners and C-suite operators, and coordinate with Food Safety, Compliance, Site Construction, Kitchen Layout, Marketing and the International Editions team on launches
• Coach Account Managers and Sales Managers, and act as senior stakeholder contact for top restaurant partners

Required profile

• 7+ years in commercially focused roles, managing medium-sized commercial or account management teams
• Proven P&L ownership or strong financial decision-making experience
• Solid project management skills and a mix of strategy and execution experience
• Comfortable negotiating with business owners or C-suite operators
• Fluent in French and English; frequent field work and travel depending on needs
• Previous general management experience or running your own business desirable
