Traveling Telecom Field Technician

About the role

Azurreo is seeking a Traveling Telecom Field Technician to join its international field teams. You will work on a variety of mobile network and critical infrastructure projects across France and abroad, installing, configuring, testing and maintaining telecom equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and commission network equipment such as routers, switches and servers at technical sites and data centres.
• Perform installation, configuration and testing of telecom infrastructure.
• Diagnose technical failures, resolve incidents and ensure system performance and continuity.
• Analyse installation performance, report field issues and contribute to configuration improvements.
• Collaborate with project managers and technical teams, follow procedures and produce clear intervention reports.

Required profile

• Fluent English for international reporting.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills in field missions.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Networking, Telecommunications, IT or Electronics.
• Initial experience (internship, work‑study or first job) in networking, telecom or IT infrastructure.
• Valid driver’s licence (category B) and full availability for frequent travel.

Required skills

• IP networking, routing and switching fundamentals.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of mobile networks (2G, 3G, 4G).
• Proficiency with network hardware installation and configuration.
