Service Director, EMEA (Remote)

About the role

Leica Microsystems is seeking an experienced Service Director to lead its EMEA field operations. This remote position oversees service revenue growth, equipment installations, and contract fulfilment across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Drive profitable growth of service revenue and manage the regional Service P&L.
• Oversee installation of new and demonstration equipment, warranty repairs and refurbishment activities.
• Lead a team of approximately 120 staff, including Field Service Managers, Engineers, Customer Service Delivery and Service Contract Sales.
• Ensure compliance with service level agreements and contractual obligations to customers, dealers and authorized partners.
• Collect and act on customer feedback to maintain high satisfaction and quality standards.
• Apply Danaher Business Systems tools in daily operations to improve processes.

Required profile

• Proven ability to build, develop and manage a large service organization.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and root‑cause problem solving.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills across all levels and functions.
• Experience in coaching, negotiating, conflict resolution and team building.
