Salesforce Life Science Functional Architect

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Salesforce Life Science Functional Architect at the manager level to lead end‑to‑end solution design for Life Sciences implementations. You will bridge functional business requirements and technical delivery, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant Salesforce solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design architecture across data model, integration patterns, security, and platform configuration for Salesforce Life Sciences projects.
• Translate business processes into implementable Salesforce solutions and maintain alignment across multiple workstreams.
• Produce and keep up‑to‑date solution design documents, architecture decision records, and data flow diagrams.
• Facilitate design sessions, requirement workshops, and solution walkthroughs with client stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Identify and manage solution risks, design gaps, and cross‑workstream dependencies, escalating issues as needed.
• Guide configuration and development work to adhere to Salesforce best practices and client standards.
• Support estimation, scoping, and staffing discussions during pursuit and early delivery phases.

Required profile

• Manager‑level experience within Salesforce implementations, preferably in Life Sciences.
• Strong ability to work with both functional leads and technical leads.
• Comfort with complex, ambiguous environments and a track record of driving decisions.
