PLM Functional Architect – Permanent, Toulouse

About the role

We are seeking a senior PLM Functional Architect to lead the functional architecture of our Product Lifecycle Management ecosystem in Toulouse. You will shape the transverse PLM landscape, ensuring seamless integration across CAD, configuration, and manufacturing toolsets.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain the functional architecture for PLM solutions, covering product structure, BOM, DMU, and change management.
• Lead transverse architecture initiatives for at least 5 years, coordinating across PASS SSI, VPM/Optegra/CADINT, APS, PS SSI, PDMLink CC, AIRINA, LTA4ALL and related tools.
• Define release, versioning, and system installation processes, and ensure alignment with downstream tools such as manufacturing and customer service platforms.
• Strategize and implement test strategies for complex releases, including data, landscape, and scenario planning.
• Promote Agile/SAFe and Lean PLM practices, applying Scrum techniques and artifacts throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in PLM functional domains, with 5‑10 years in functional architecture.
• Proven track record leading transverse PLM architecture for 5+ years.
• Strong functional knowledge of 3D Experience and SSI domain.
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities.
