MLOps Engineer

About the role

Alta Ares is building AI‑guided interceptors for NATO‑aligned militaries. As an MLOps Engineer you will own the evolution of Gamma Ulixes, the AI platform that powers both internal development workflows and customer‑facing AI capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Gamma Ulixes, including experiment tracking, model registry and dataset management.
• Design reproducible ML workflows and automated training pipelines.
• Build and maintain scalable infrastructure for computer‑vision and trajectory‑based models, including GPU clusters and distributed training.
• Create APIs and backend services that power AI workflows and ensure observability, monitoring and reliability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for model deployment across cloud, on‑premise and edge environments such as Nvidia Jetson.
• Package, version and roll out models, optimizing inference pipelines for embedded hardware.
• Collaborate with ML Engineers and Software Engineers to industrialise research prototypes and define engineering standards.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience as an MLOps Engineer, ML Platform Engineer, Software Engineer or Data Engineer working on production‑grade machine‑learning systems.
• Strong Python software‑engineering skills.
• Proven experience designing, operating and scaling production ML infrastructure.
