Legal Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading international investment firm, is expanding its legal team and seeks a Legal Manager to independently oversee a diverse portfolio of legal matters. The role involves supporting fund structuring, M&A transactions, and corporate governance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts in a multi‑jurisdictional environment.
• Prepare and analyse deal documentation such as NDAs, letters of intent, and term sheets, and contribute to due‑diligence reviews.
• Review advisers’ engagement letters to safeguard financial and regulatory interests.
• Identify and assess legal and regulatory risks for investment opportunities and portfolio companies.
• Advise internal teams and committees on contractual and regulatory issues, delivering clear, actionable analysis.
• Participate as a legal expert in cross‑functional projects.

Required profile

• Law degree (qualification in an international jurisdiction is a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in a law firm handling corporate, transactional, or private‑equity matters.
• Strong M&A background, especially with cross‑border transactions documented in English.
• Experience in fund structuring and corporate contract review is advantageous.
