Lecturer – Education Focused (Law & Justice)

About the role

UNSW Law & Justice is seeking a Lecturer (Education‑Focused) to join the School of Global and Public Law. This fixed‑term, two‑year position is based on the Kensington Campus in Sydney and focuses on delivering high‑quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, convene and teach courses in the LLB, JD and LLM programmes, covering Public Law, International Law and core LLM modules.
• Drive educational excellence by developing innovative teaching methods and learning resources.
• Participate in the School’s Student Integrity Advisor role as required.
• Contribute to curriculum development and academic community initiatives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to teach Public Law, including Principles of Public Law, Administrative Law and Federal Constitutional Law.
• Capability to teach Law in the Global Context, encompassing both public and private international law.
• Experience delivering core LLM modules such as Global Common Law Systems and Research & Writing.
• Commitment to a 35‑hour work week on a full‑time basis for a two‑year fixed term.
