Housekeeping Assistant (m/f/d) – New Opening

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Housekeeping Assistant to join our newly opened Ruby Lilou hotel in Marseille. You will ensure the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms and public areas while supporting the housekeeping team.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain the cleanliness of hotel rooms and public spaces on a daily basis.
• Cover for the Housekeeping Operations Manager during absences.
• Share responsibility for both internal staff and external cleaning contractors, ensuring smooth collaboration.
• Train and coach team members to uphold established quality standards.
• Coordinate external cleaning companies, manage orders and verify delivery invoices.
• Collaborate with hosts and maintenance to fulfill guest requests promptly.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar housekeeping role.
• Strong passion for cleanliness and a keen eye for detail.
• Confident, friendly demeanor with a sense of humour.
• Ability to interact effectively with international guests.
• Fluent French and good command of English.
