Flight Test Instrumentation Software Engineer

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Flight Test Instrumentation Software Engineer to join the Flight and Integration Tests Center in Toulouse. You will support, maintain, test and deploy onboard applications used for flight test instrumentation on simulators, test benches and telemetry systems.

Key responsibilities

• Support, test, integrate and maintain the software solution for Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI).
• Capture, analyse and translate flight test engineers' and ATA specialists' needs into software functions (UI and computations).
• Perform verification and validation (V&V) of software modules.
• Collaborate with FTI architects, test means team, ATA specialists and flight test engineers.
• Gain technical experience in Operations Support and IT areas.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar environment.
• Excellent teamwork and ability to work in a dynamic operational setting.
• Solid knowledge of real‑time software applications, particularly in C, C++ and Linux.
• Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Negotiation‑level proficiency in French and English.
