Director Business Development – Corporate Division

About the role

TransPerfect is seeking a Director of Business Development for its Corporate Division in Paris. You will lead the acquisition and management of high‑value client relationships, driving revenue growth across our language and technology services portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and close new clients through referrals, cold calling, networking, tradeshows and industry events.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, managing each stage of the sales cycle.
• Develop long‑term relationships with existing clients, delivering elite service and industry‑specific insights.
• Create and execute sales plans to meet monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
• Generate daily outreach via direct mail, digital marketing and phone calls.
• Present TransPerfect solutions in one‑on‑one, group, online and in‑person meetings.
• Manage pricing, contractual negotiations and set realistic client expectations.
• Travel domestically and internationally for conferences and client meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior sales or business development role.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication, relationship‑building and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high integrity and service quality.
