Chemical Engineer

About the role

Eurocert is looking for an experienced Chemical Engineer to join its development team. You will be responsible for driving business growth, managing inspection and certification projects, and ensuring compliance with quality standards on a local and global scale.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new client relationships and expand the company’s market presence.
• Plan, execute, and report on inspections and audits.
• Maintain Eurocert’s quality standards while staying current with relevant technologies, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Train, mentor, and guide junior engineers, providing technical direction and acting as a liaison with customers.
• Ensure system functionality and continuous improvement of processes.
• Participate in professional development through training, education, and networking events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an engineer or Lead Auditor within a certification body.
• Experience in scheme or certification management and systems management.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control.
• High organizational, marketing, and self‑motivation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
