Engineering Internship: Emulation Platform for Embedded Software Validation

About the role

The NFC Software team in Caen develops internal validation tools for NXP's NFC firmware and middleware used worldwide. We are looking for a final‑year engineering student to join us for a 6‑month internship focused on enhancing our emulation platform for embedded software validation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and propose technical solutions for the simulation platform.
• Extend the platform to support new embedded products and additional hardware peripherals.
• Implement extra validation and debugging methods, potentially leveraging AI techniques.
• Automate test benches and integrate them with Jenkins for continuous testing.

Required profile

• Final year of an Engineering School (Master’s level) or Master’s degree in Industrial Computing, Computer Science or related field.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work in an international environment.
• Passion for software development and quick learning of new technical topics.

Required skills

• Software development with C, Python and C#.
• Understanding of software and hardware architectures.
• Experience with validation methodologies.
• Familiarity with Jenkins for test automation.
