Wing Structures Design Engineer – MAP Team

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a structure design engineer (f/m) to join our MAP team based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a team providing engineering support for the Final Assembly Lines (FAL), flight test and the delivery of A350 & A330 aircraft. As part of the MAP Wide Body Wing Structures, you will manage non‑conformities, design repair solutions and support production to secure industrial milestones, quality and safety of our wings.

Key responsibilities

• Design and approve engineering repair solutions (concession process) on wing structures.
• Provide direct technical support on aircraft in Final Assembly Lines, flight tests and delivery centre in line with industrial milestones.
• Ensure continuous compliance with aircraft design, manufacturing and safety standards.
• Identify repetitive issues from operators' feedback and propose design modifications together with design offices and Chief Engineer teams.
• Represent the MAP Wing team within the MAP community, manufacturing teams and airline customers.

Required profile

• Master's or Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautics or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in aeronautical structure design (metallic and/or composite).
• Fluent French and negotiation‑level English.
• Agile, adaptable, proactive and pragmatic attitude.

Required skills

• Proficient with CAD tools, especially CATIA.
• Knowledge of repair and maintenance documentation (SRM, AMM, ASR, IPC).
• Experience with SAP environment and non‑conformities management processes.
