Technical Artist - Gaming

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Artist to join the Art team on our flagship mobile title “All in Hole”. Reporting to the Art Director, you will work at the intersection of art and technology, turning visual concepts into production‑ready assets inside Unity for a global audience.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate UI and visual assets into Unity, ensuring pixel‑perfect implementation across multiple devices and resolutions.
• Build and maintain reusable prefabs, asset structures, naming conventions and shared libraries to support efficient large‑scale production.
• Drive asset and rendering optimisation, including Sprite Atlas management, draw‑call reduction, compression strategies and overall mobile performance improvements.
• Investigate and resolve visual, UI and asset‑related bugs, acting as the primary liaison between Art and Development.
• Support localisation implementation, responsive layouts, safe‑area management and cross‑device validation.
• Develop technical solutions that streamline the art pipeline and improve production efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience working with Unity on mobile games.
• Strong understanding of art pipelines, asset integration and performance optimisation.
• Ability to collaborate closely with artists, designers, developers and QA teams.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high visual quality.

Required skills

• Unity engine (C# scripting optional but not required).
• UI integration and responsive layout implementation.
• Prefab creation, asset structuring and naming conventions.
• Sprite Atlas management and draw‑call reduction.
• Compression techniques and mobile performance profiling.
• Localization workflow and safe‑area handling.
