SEO & Digital Marketing Expert (Remote, Contract)

About the role

This remote, part‑time contract position is for an SEO and Digital Marketing Subject Matter Expert who will evaluate and improve AI‑generated marketing outputs. You will provide detailed feedback, fact‑check content, and help train AI models to produce higher‑quality SEO strategies and copy.

Key responsibilities

• Create gold‑standard SEO prompts, content briefs, and strategic notes for AI training.
• Review AI‑generated SEO and marketing responses, rating them on relevance, accuracy, clarity, and brand fit.
• Identify and document issues such as misaligned search intent, weak keyword strategy, on‑page or technical SEO gaps, and risky claims.
• Provide written explanations and recommendations that demonstrate best‑practice SEO and digital marketing techniques.
• Compare multiple AI outputs and suggest improvements to enhance model performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in SEO or digital marketing (in‑house, agency or consultancy).
• Strong command of SEO fundamentals, technical SEO concepts, and analytics tools.
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to spot logical flaws, hallucinated facts, or risky claims.
• Reliable, self‑directed, and comfortable working across time zones in an hourly remote workflow.
