Senior Financial Controller – Paris

About the role

Flowdesk is building a global financial institution for digital assets and needs a Senior Financial Controller to ensure accurate reporting and robust financial controls across its key entities. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will manage monthly management accounts, support consolidation, and lead statutory reporting for the group.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts for multiple Group entities.
• Assist with consolidation for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
• Maintain a strong control environment for assets, liabilities, income and expenditure.
• Oversee bank account and cash management, ensuring timely invoice payments and receivable collections.
• Approve and check payments, applying ‘four‑eyes’ control principles.
• Develop and document accounting policies and business processes.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and tax obligations.
• Support regulatory and licence applications as needed.
• Lead year‑end statutory accounts and audit coordination with external advisers.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects that support business growth.

Required profile

• Fully qualified Accountant or DSCG equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Deep technical knowledge of French GAAP and IFRS; knowledge of US or Singapore GAAP is a plus.
• Proven experience managing audit engagements.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance issues in trading and crypto markets.
• Experience with French R&D tax credits and VAT returns is preferred.
• Strong analytical judgment and sound decision‑making abilities.
