Senior Financial Controller – Global Finance Team

About the role

Flowdesk is building a global financial institution for digital assets. As a Senior Financial Controller you will be responsible for the monthly management and annual statutory reporting close of key group entities, while supporting group consolidation and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts for multiple assigned group entities.
• Assist with consolidation of group financials for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
• Maintain robust control over assets, liabilities, income and expenditure.
• Manage bank accounts, cash flow, invoice payments and receivables collection.
• Approve and check payments, ensuring ‘four‑eyes’ control principles.
• Develop and document accounting processes and policies to strengthen internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and tax obligations.
• Support regulatory and licence applications as needed.
• Lead year‑end statutory accounts preparation and audit liaison.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects that support business growth.

Required profile

• Fully qualified Accountant or DSCG equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• In‑depth technical knowledge of French GAAP and IFRS (experience with US or Singapore GAAP is a plus).
• Proven track record of managing audit engagements.
• Good awareness of regulatory and compliance landscapes, especially in trading and crypto.
• Experience with French R&D tax credits and VAT returns is preferred.
• Strong analytical judgment and sound decision‑making abilities.
• Fluent English language proficiency.
