Senior Business Controller

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑focused finance professional to join a large international organisation as a Senior Business Controller. In this highly visible position you will partner with senior stakeholders, drive performance, and provide insightful financial analysis that influences strategic and operational decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the budgeting, forecasting and planning cycles for a key business area, ensuring clear financial visibility.
• Produce high‑quality financial reports with concise commentary for senior leadership.
• Analyse performance, identify value drivers and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Act as a business partner to senior stakeholders, supporting both strategic initiatives and day‑to‑day decisions.
• Evaluate business cases, investments and cost initiatives to guide resource allocation.
• Track and challenge performance through relevant KPIs, promoting accountability.
• Support cost‑optimisation and continuous improvement projects.
• Enhance planning, reporting and controlling processes for greater efficiency and transparency.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Fluent in French and English.
• 5‑8 years of proven experience in Controlling, FP&A or Business Finance within an international environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, hands‑on attitude and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced setting.
