About the role
Join the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM) as a Scientific Programme Manager and help shape international pharmaceutical documentary standards. You will work with leading experts and organisations worldwide to drive scientific publications and advance the European Pharmacopoeia.
Key responsibilities
- Co‑ordinate and update EDQM Standard Terms and pharmaceutical terminology with expert groups and regulatory stakeholders, ensuring alignment with international data standards.
- Represent EDQM in international forums such as ISO and IPRP on terminology and standardisation matters.
- Develop and draft scientific standards for the European Pharmacopoeia, including texts and formularies, in collaboration with global experts.
- Guide expert groups, drive scientific work programmes and evaluate new proposals.
Required profile
- Citizenship of one of the 46 Council of Europe member states.
- Relevant experience in pharmaceutical terminology, regulatory standards or related scientific programmes.
- Strong ability to work with international experts and regulatory bodies.
Required skills
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and standards.
- Familiarity with international standardisation processes (e.g., ISO, IPRP).
- Excellent coordination and communication skills with expert groups.

- Competitive net salary ranging from €4 925 to €6 293 per month (grade A1/A2).
