Programme Manager – Science Affairs (CCAC)

About the role

The Programme Manager (Science Affairs) will support the Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) in delivering high‑quality scientific assessments and analytical products. The role ensures that CCAC’s science outputs are robust, strategically aligned, and translated into actionable insights for policymakers and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the development, review and dissemination of CCAC scientific assessments, briefs and analytical tools.
• Facilitate collaboration with contributing scientists, partner organisations and the Science Advisory Panel.
• Ensure scientific products meet UNEP publication standards and are delivered on agreed timelines.
• Strengthen the science‑policy interface by translating scientific findings into policy‑relevant recommendations.
• Support the integration of the latest climate and air‑pollution science into CCAC strategies and stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• Strong background in climate, air‑quality or related environmental science.
• Experience in coordinating large‑scale scientific assessments and publications.
• Proven ability to work with international partners and multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with short‑lived climate pollutants and their policy implications.
