Private Equity Capital Internship – Mid-Large Buyout (Paris)

About the role

Eurazeo’s CAPITAL team is looking for a motivated intern to support the acquisition of mid‑large sized companies across Europe and North America. You will work on real private‑equity transactions, gaining exposure to deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct strategic and financial analysis of investment opportunities, including market and competitive assessments.
• Draft Investment Committee memoranda and presentation materials.
• Build and maintain financial models (business plans, LBO, scenario and sensitivity analysis).
• Participate in meetings with management teams, consultants, lawyers, and bankers.
• Perform company valuations using LBO, multiples, and sum‑of‑parts methods.
• Support monitoring of portfolio companies through build‑up and reporting analysis.

Required profile

• 2nd or 3rd year student at a top‑ranked Business School, Engineering School, Sciences Po, or Dauphine.
• Previous experience in finance (PE, VC, M&A, TS) or strategy consulting.
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with a solid understanding of corporate finance and accounting basics.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Highly motivated, autonomous, reliable, and able to multitask in a team environment.
