Private Capital Associate / Engagement Manager

About the role

Oliver Wyman is expanding its Private Capital practice and is looking for experienced consultants to join as Associates or Engagement Managers. You will work with investor and strategic clients across the full transaction lifecycle, from opportunity identification through due diligence, M&A execution and post‑transaction value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Break down complex problems into actionable work streams and guide junior consultants.
• Plan and execute analyses, identify core issues and develop practical recommendations.
• Lead project teams day‑to‑day, ensuring efficient problem‑solving and high‑quality deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with clients, providing unique insights and managing stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• 3–8 years of relevant experience, preferably at a top‑tier strategy consulting firm or similar organization.
• Strong expertise in due‑diligence and transaction advisory work.
• Demonstrated ability to manage small teams and drive projects forward.
