Operator – Special Lifting Devices (International)

About the role

Mammoet is seeking an Operator for Special Devices International to join its Europe‑wide team. You will work on complex lifting and transport projects, handling some of the company’s most innovative machinery and contributing to high‑profile assignments across the continent.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, mobilise, operate and dismantle specialised lifting and transport equipment.
• Execute lifting and transport activities in line with project specifications.
• Collaborate with on‑site colleagues and maintain clear communication with clients.
• Inspect, maintain and report on equipment and materials.
• Adhere to the highest safety and quality standards.
• Travel for temporary international assignments within Europe.

Required profile

• Completed technical education or willingness to obtain one.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role or industry.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of hydraulics.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics.
• Basic knowledge of electrical diagrams.
• Basic mathematics.
