Operator / Service Technician – Wind Energy (M/F)

About the role

Join Vestas France as an Operator / Service Technician and work on the front line of wind‑energy innovation. You will help optimise wind farms throughout their lifecycle, ensuring turbines deliver maximum capacity and energy efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Perform periodic service inspections and replace or troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and hydraulic components according to Vestas specifications.
• Monitor turbine conditions and operate remote‑control systems to guarantee smooth operation.
• Maintain a fully stocked service vehicle and warehouse, ordering tools, materials and spare parts as needed.
• Assemble major components using internal or external cranes, following work instructions.
• Adhere to the highest safety and environmental standards while meeting service targets.

Required profile

• High‑school diploma with technical experience (maintenance, electrical engineering, mechanics) – preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree, BTS/DUT in industrial, electrical or mechanical engineering, or BZEE‑certified technician.
• 2‑5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or electricity, with high‑voltage knowledge.
• Proactive customer communication, flexibility, autonomy and willingness to travel.
• Good written and spoken technical English and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work at height.
