Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Hydrodomus is pioneering residential hydrogen refueling technology and seeks a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer to turn digital concepts into physical prototypes. You will work on high‑pressure hydrogen systems, translating complex CAD assemblies into manufacturable hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks or Fusion 360.
• Design, fabricate, and test machining and welding components for 700 bar hydrogen equipment.
• Assemble and validate fluid‑system prototypes, ensuring compliance with high‑pressure standards.
• Select and specify materials and surface treatments suitable for high‑pressure hydrogen environments.
• Iterate quickly between design, prototype, and testing phases to accelerate product development.

Required profile

• Expert mastery of CAD tools (SolidWorks/Fusion 360) for complex mechanical assemblies.
• Hands‑on experience in machining, welding, and fluid‑system assembly.
• Strong knowledge of materials and treatments for high‑pressure hydrogen applications.
• Ability to move rapidly from digital design to physical prototype.
