Market and Finance Controller – Country & Support Function

About the role

We are looking for a Market and Finance Controller who will act as a strategic partner for country and regional teams. The role combines financial performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering to support decision‑making across the market and a support function.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial and non‑financial performance analyses at country/cluster level for monthly reviews.
• Design, plan and communicate the annual budget, forecast and 5‑year plan in close collaboration with Group FP&A.
• Ensure the integrity of country P&L, balance‑sheet and cash, and trigger corrective actions when targets are missed.
• Challenge business decisions and assumptions by providing fact‑based analysis and rigorous reviews.
• Promote Group standardisation, harmonisation of processes and KPIs across the region.
• Collaborate with local controllers, CFOs and functional heads to optimise processes and manage financial risk.
• Support major projects and transformation initiatives by identifying risks, opportunities and providing financial insights.
• Lead specific topics such as risk management, procurement or other areas of expertise as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; professional qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA) is a plus.
• Several years of experience in controlling, financial planning or FP&A within an international environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work as a business partner with senior stakeholders.
