Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will manage maritime and multimodal land transport movements, ensuring smooth import/export operations and compliance with contract terms. Working closely with the Europe Directorate and service managers, the role supports customers and commercial teams by delivering efficient transport solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Update and monitor maritime and multimodal land transport movements using internal systems.
• Implement land transport contract terms in collaboration with Europe Directorate offices.
• Design transport solutions that meet customer, commercial and marketing requirements.
• Ensure service quality of land carriers and optimise routes to minimise empty trips.
• Participate actively in cost‑reduction initiatives across all services.
• Provide rapid, proactive solutions for disruptions such as depot changes or port congestion.
• Prepare regular reports and statistics for the Service Manager following company procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in transport or logistics.
• Bachelor‑level education (or equivalent two‑year higher education).
• Fluent in English and French.
• Willingness to travel up to 10 % of the time.
• Good knowledge of the French road, rail and river network.
• Strong communication skills with drivers and internal teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience using Ci5 and S‑One transport management systems.
