Legal Department – Lawyer Traineeship

About the role

As a legal trainee in the Legal Department, you will work directly with the General Counsel, supporting a fast‑growing international industrial company on a wide range of business‑law matters. The position offers a highly formative in‑house experience for a law student completing a PPI stage.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and review commercial agreements such as NDAs, supplier, procurement, service and partnership contracts.
• Assist in responding to RFPs and support major industrial projects.
• Handle day‑to‑day corporate law tasks, prepare board and shareholders’ meeting documentation, and maintain corporate records.
• Support compliance activities including ESG, GDPR, export control, internal policies and regulatory research.
• Contribute to intellectual‑property matters, including trademark protection, patent coordination and IP strategy.
• Assist in pre‑litigation, dispute management, claims analysis and legal risk assessment.
• Provide general legal support for office and industrial site issues and coordinate external counsel when needed.

Required profile

• Law student (élève‑avocat) seeking a PPI internship, preferably from a French bar school.
• Strong interest in business law, in‑house practice and industrial/technological environments.
• Excellent legal drafting, analytical and organizational abilities.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
