Lean Agile Coach – Product and Engineering (Remote‑First)

About the role

Join the European Payments Initiative to drive a continent‑wide transformation of payments. As a Lean Agile Coach you will enable sustainable agility across 14 cross‑functional product and engineering teams, helping them deliver value in a highly regulated, remote‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Agile Coach for ~14 teams, ensuring pragmatic adoption of Agile principles, clear ways of working and alignment with product lifecycle procedures.
• Design and evolve a flight‑levels architecture that connects strategy, portfolio priorities and team execution, facilitating delivery planning, dependency management and cross‑team coordination.
• Build a strong continuous‑improvement culture by breaking silos, fostering transparency and establishing effective feedback loops, working agreements and communication norms for remote collaboration.
• Provide team and 1:1 coaching to product managers, engineers and leaders, cultivating psychological safety, accountability and healthy dynamics across a distributed, multicultural workforce.

Required profile

• Proven experience enabling Agile adoption and systemic transformation across multiple teams.
• Comfort working in a highly regulated payments environment.
• Strong ability to coach people, not just processes, in remote‑first, multicultural settings.
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills to drive collaboration and continuous improvement.
