Lead Quality Engineer

About the role

Vizzia is looking for a Lead Quality Engineer to own and drive hardware quality across its product portfolio of cameras, stations and accessories. Reporting to the hardware team lead, you will establish quality standards, build processes and ensure they are applied from R&D through to manufacturing and field deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own a comprehensive hardware quality plan covering all Vizzia products.
• Set quality standards and acceptance criteria, and ensure they are communicated and applied.
• Develop, roll out and train the team on quality processes, templates and audit procedures.
• Create and execute test plans for every hardware product, tracking results to prevent defects.
• Establish structured supplier quality control, lead on‑site audits in China and drive corrective actions.
• Reduce defect rates by 30‑40% on current production lines.
• Maintain up‑to‑date certification documentation (e.g., CE) and ensure audit readiness.
• Build traceability systems to reconstruct product histories and improve field reliability.

Required profile

• Approximately 10 years of experience in hardware quality engineering.
• Proven track record of implementing quality systems in manufacturing environments.
• Experience working with suppliers, preferably in Asia.
• Strong understanding of CE certification and field reliability metrics.
