IT Helpdesk Technician Apprentice

About the role

Join the IT team at Oetker Hotels' corporate office in Paris as an IT Helpdesk Technician Apprentice. You will support daily operations by providing first‑level technical assistance and gaining hands‑on experience with hardware, software and network environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support for hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Respond to help‑desk tickets, escalating when necessary.
• Set up, configure and maintain computers, printers and other devices.
• Perform routine equipment checks, basic repairs and replacements.
• Install, update and troubleshoot software applications while ensuring licensing and security compliance.
• Troubleshoot wired and wireless network connectivity problems and perform basic network checks.
• Assist with applying updates, patches and security fixes.
• Help maintain accurate hardware and software inventory.
• Follow IT security protocols and report incidents.

Required profile

• Completion of 1–2 years of higher education.
• Strong motivation to learn and develop new IT skills.
• Foundational knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems and common software applications.
• Analytical, problem‑solving mindset with proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
• Team‑oriented and able to collaborate in a supportive environment.
