Graduate KYC/Compliance Analyst – Luxembourg

About the role

The European Investment Bank (EIB) is seeking a Graduate in KYC/Compliance to join its Joint Middle Office (JMO) – Counterparty Management / KYC Centre of Expertise Division in Luxembourg. You will work on‑site, receive mentorship from senior compliance professionals, and gain hands‑on experience with a wide range of counterparties across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Support the identification, assessment and follow‑up of compliance risks for new and existing counterparties.
• Assist in the implementation of KYC processes and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) procedures.
• Contribute to improvement projects such as the Client Lifecycle Management System and Group Client Portal.
• Collaborate with the Bank’s 1st and 2nd lines of defence, including Origination and Portfolio Management teams.
• Potentially rotate to other JMO activities based on business needs.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree relevant to finance, law, economics or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Interest in anti‑money‑laundering (AML), counter‑terrorist financing (CTF) and sanctions compliance.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
