Global Sourcing Category Senior Manager – Corn Derivatives

About the role

This senior position leads the global sourcing of corn‑derived ingredients (starches, glucose syrup, maltodextrins, polydextrose, etc.) for Lactalis. Reporting to the Global Sourcing Manager – Agri‑Commodities, you will shape multi‑year category strategies and drive cost, quality, innovation and sustainability across a €100M spend.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement multi‑year category strategies with procurement, R&D, industrial, quality and marketing teams.
• Design the global roadmap for corn‑derived ingredients, aligning sourcing with business priorities and sustainability goals.
• Lead global supplier relationships, negotiate master supply agreements and ensure consistent contract frameworks.
• Manage supplier segmentation, risk management and geopolitical/financial risk mitigation.
• Monitor global corn markets, anticipate supply risks and guide long‑term sourcing plans.
• Support local teams in applying global strategies, track performance against KPIs and drive savings initiatives.
• Lead cross‑functional projects to improve cost, quality and innovation, and promote knowledge sharing across regions.
• Contribute to Lactalis’ sustainable roadmap and integration of new acquisitions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing or strategic sourcing.
• Experience in a global or zone procurement role, preferably within Lactalis, is a strong advantage.
