Full Stack Engineering Intern

About the role

Symbiose is looking for a Full Stack Engineering Intern to help build and enhance its customer‑facing platform that delivers real‑time forest intelligence. You will work side‑by‑side with senior engineers, remote‑sensing specialists and data scientists, gaining hands‑on experience in a deep‑tech, climate‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and frontend features under senior guidance.
• Integrate geospatial, remote‑sensing or machine‑learning outputs into APIs and web applications.
• Assist in building and operating data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Contribute to web interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Support the integration of geospatial visualisation tools such as Mapbox GL.
• Write clean, well‑documented, and tested code.

Required profile

• Strong interest in AI, geospatial technologies and climate impact.
• Background or curiosity in machine learning, remote sensing, data engineering, forestry or related fields.
• Motivation to work in a fast‑moving startup environment and learn from experienced mentors.
