Full Stack Engineering Intern

About the role

Symbiose is looking for a Full Stack Engineering Intern to join its platform team. You will work on a customer‑facing application that delivers real‑time forest intelligence, collaborating with senior engineers, remote‑sensing specialists and data scientists.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs under senior guidance.
• Implement and enhance frontend features using React and TypeScript.
• Integrate geospatial, remote‑sensing and machine‑learning outputs into the platform.
• Build and support data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Assist with embedding geospatial visualisation tools such as Mapbox GL.
• Write clean, documented, and tested code and participate in code reviews.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Computer Science or related engineering program.
• Strong interest in AI, geospatial data and environmental impact.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Good problem‑solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
