ETOPS & OSD Operational Certification Consultant

About the role

Join the Airbus Protect Operational Certification team as an ETOPS & OSD Operational Certification Consultant. You will support Airbus customers, coordinate certification activities and ensure the continued airworthiness of the commercial fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Airbus Design Office and Technical Documentation (STL) to develop and implement MMEL change projects.
• Contribute to the certification plan for ATA 041 ETOPS aspects and interact with EASA on major and minor change approvals.
• Monitor ETOPS fleet reliability by tracking engine shutdown events and reviewing in‑service data.
• Produce and maintain ETOPS technical documentation, training material and in‑service information articles for aircraft deliveries.
• Provide daily support to Airbus Customer Support, answering queries on ETOPS and MMEL issues for the entire commercial fleet.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in aeronautics or equivalent experience in Operational Suitability Data, airline operations (including ETOPS) or technical documentation.
• Strong coordination and presentation skills, autonomous with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Fluent English with negotiation level proficiency; ability to work in a multicultural environment.
