English Montessori Educator (6-12 years)

About the role

Montessori 21 is seeking a passionate English‑speaking Montessori educator to join a bilingual classroom of 25‑27 children aged 6 to 12. Working under the Director and alongside a French‑speaking colleague, you will provide daily English immersion while following Montessori principles.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver English language immersion throughout the day, aiming for each child to reach A2 level in oral and written skills.
• Plan and conduct child‑centered Montessori lessons that foster curiosity and independent learning.
• Observe, assess, and track each child’s academic, physical, emotional, and social progress.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inspiring classroom environment.
• Collaborate with the French‑speaking educator to improve teaching practices and the learning space.
• Communicate regularly with parents, sharing progress reports and holding scheduled meetings.

Required profile

• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Degree or proven experience in teaching English as a second language and/or a Montessori diploma or primary teaching qualification.
• Ability to manage and engage a group of children effectively.
