Director of Relationship Management – France

About the role

The Director of Relationship Management for France will act as a trusted advisor to senior corporate and institutional clients, deepening existing partnerships and identifying new business opportunities. You will lead the delivery of strategic banking solutions that align with client objectives while generating sustainable returns for ANZ.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute client acquisition and growth strategies, targeting new‑to‑bank opportunities and expanding wallet share with existing customers.
• Lead complex client engagements, coordinating specialists across Markets, Transaction Banking, and Corporate Finance to provide integrated, customer‑focused solutions.
• Manage a disciplined credit risk portfolio, ensuring robust governance and compliance with internal policies.
• Collaborate closely with product, risk, and coverage teams to design and deliver tailored banking solutions.
• Contribute to a high‑performing, collaborative culture and leverage ANZ’s global network to achieve client outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior relationship management within institutional or corporate banking.
• Strong ability to act as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders and to drive business development.
• Demonstrated track record of leading cross‑functional teams on complex transactions.
• Excellent credit risk assessment and portfolio management capabilities.
• Commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and delivering high‑quality client service.
