Data Analysis Internship

About the role

We are looking for a Data Analysis Intern to support a large-scale financial reporting project for a Paris-based client. Working remotely alongside senior consultants, you will help ensure that financial data flows accurately through reporting systems, enabling better business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and organize large financial datasets to guarantee reporting accuracy.
• Assist in building and testing Power BI dashboards that track key performance indicators.
• Map data between legacy systems and modern cloud-based EPM platforms.
• Write and update technical documentation for system administrators.
• Review consolidation rules and intercompany eliminations to identify discrepancies.
• Support senior consultants in drafting project status reports for the client.
• Participate in remote team meetings to discuss data-modeling strategies and project milestones.
• Validate data loads to ensure correct information transfer between systems.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of accounting principles or financial reporting concepts.
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and basic formulas.
• Strong interest in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Curiosity about how corporate finance systems and databases interact.
• Excellent attention to detail when working with complex spreadsheets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Willingness to learn technical configurations for Enterprise Performance Management tools.
