Construction Manager – Project near Nantes

About the role

IDOM is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the planning and execution of construction activities for a major project near Nantes, France. You will be responsible for coordinating EPC contractors, owners’ teams and PMC project teams to ensure safe, on‑time, and cost‑effective delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead constructability studies and define construction methodology across design, mobilization and procurement phases.
• Coordinate multi‑contractor EPC/EPCM environments and manage complex brownfield/greenfield sites.
• Ensure schedule integrity, cost control, quality and HSE performance in line with corporate governance.
• Oversee site readiness, mechanical completion and commissioning hand‑over.
• Maintain compliance with codes, standards, permit‑to‑work systems and commissioning documentation.
• Produce reporting dashboards using Power BI and manage field planning with Primavera P6 and MS Project.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or Construction Management.
• 8‑12 years of construction management experience on capital projects (industrial, infrastructure, energy, oil & gas).
• Proven delivery in EPC/EPCM settings and experience within a PMC/Owner governance framework.
• Advanced French (C1) and English (B2) language skills.
• Strong track record in schedule control, field productivity and quality/HSE performance.
