Community Manager – Build & Engage User Communities

About the role

Air Apps is looking for a Community Manager to shape and grow its global user community. You will work onsite in Lisbon, collaborating with product, marketing and support teams to create an inclusive, engaging environment for users of its AI‑powered Personal & Entrepreneurial Resource Planner.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute community engagement strategies across forums, social media groups and user discussion platforms.
• Moderate and manage online communities, responding to questions, fostering positive interactions and enforcing guidelines.
• Organise and promote community events, webinars, Q&A sessions and other user‑focused initiatives.
• Collaborate with marketing, product and support teams to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Monitor, analyse and report community metrics to continuously optimise engagement tactics.
• Identify and activate brand advocates, ambassadors and super‑users.
• Stay up‑to‑date with community‑management trends, tools and best practices.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in community management, social media management or customer engagement.
• Proven track record managing online communities on platforms such as Discord, Reddit, Facebook Groups or Slack.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to inspire and engage users.
• Experience handling sensitive situations, mediating conflicts and enforcing community guidelines.
• Ability to plan and execute community‑driven events or initiatives.
