Client Communication Strategy Director – Fashion

About the role

As the Client Communication Strategy Director for Chanel Fashion, you will shape and execute a global communication blueprint that deepens the relationship between the brand and its clients. Reporting to the Fashion Client Strategy Director, you will work closely with orchestration teams worldwide to ensure every touchpoint reflects Chanel’s heritage and contemporary vision.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a global client communication strategy aligned with Chanel Fashion’s brand and client experience goals.
• Analyse market trends, client insights and best practices to inform strategic decisions.
• Oversee the deployment of multi‑channel communication tools (email, WhatsApp, WeChat, Line, social media) in harmony with media and social levers.
• Ensure consistency of messaging, tone of voice and storytelling across all client interactions.
• Collaborate with orchestration teams to tailor content for specific client journeys and regional relevance.
• Develop personalized communication journeys to strengthen loyalty and drive engagement.
• Define measurement frameworks and KPIs to assess impact and continuously optimise performance.
• Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of content, CRM and digital specialists.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading client communication or marketing strategy in luxury or fashion.
• Strong understanding of 360° communication ecosystems and client‑centric approaches.
• Proven ability to work across global teams and adapt strategies to local markets.
• Excellent analytical skills with a data‑driven mindset.

Required skills

• Expertise in multi‑channel communication platforms (email, WhatsApp, WeChat, Line, social media).
• Deep knowledge of CRM and clienteling concepts.
• Strategic planning and execution capabilities.
• Fluency in English; French is a plus.
