CCAC Super Pollutant Science Data Analytics Specialist

About the role

The Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) seeks a specialist to enhance the accessibility, usability and policy relevance of scientific data and analytical outputs produced by CCAC assessments. The consultant will work within the CCAC Science Affairs team to develop tools and platforms that translate complex modelling results into actionable insights for partners and policymakers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement analytical tools and data platforms for super‑pollutant assessments.
• Organise and curate large scientific datasets to ensure they are readily accessible to the Secretariat and CCAC partners.
• Produce policy‑relevant analytical products that support decision‑making on short‑lived climate pollutants.
• Collaborate with CCAC partners, the Global Methane Pledge secretariat and other stakeholders to interpret modelling outputs.
• Contribute to the development of the CCAC NDC Tracking Database and other science‑policy intelligence systems.

Required profile

• Advanced degree or equivalent experience in environmental science, climate science, data analytics or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience working with large, complex scientific datasets and translating them into user‑friendly analytical products.
• Strong understanding of short‑lived climate pollutants such as methane, black carbon, HFCs and tropospheric ozone.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to non‑technical audiences.
