Casual Academic Tutor – Integrated First Year Business Courses

About the role

UNSW Business School is seeking casual academic staff to join the Integrated First Year (IFY) teaching team. You will deliver tutorials and workshops for the redesigned Bachelor of Commerce, covering a fully integrated first‑year curriculum that blends contemporary business themes across disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate face‑to‑face, hybrid and online tutorials and workshops for IFY courses.
• Collaborate with academic staff from multiple business disciplines to deliver integrated content.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and support to students throughout their learning journey.
• Complete required administrative tasks related to teaching assignments.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic and experienced sessional or casual academic with a passion for student development.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching, coaching, mentoring or facilitating learning.
• Ability to thrive in collaborative, interdisciplinary environments.
• Motivated to fulfil administrative responsibilities.
• Legal right to work in Australia and an Australian bank account.
